2021

Welcome our new graduate students, Dasom and Kwon!

Congratulations to Hayoung on publishing her work in Journal of Neuroscience! Her work has supported adaptive reconfiguration and interaction of functional brain networks on causal integration of narratives. This work is in collaboration with Dr. Hyunjin Park. https://doi.org/10.1523/JNEUROSCI.0037-21.2021

Congratulations to Kyeong-jin on her publication in NeuroImage! Her work shows that neural representations of ensemble perception arise by pooling signals at multiple levels of the visual processing stream. This work is in collaboration with Drs. Sang Chul Chong and Min Suk Kang. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.neuroimage.2021.118680

2020

Congratulations to Insub, a recent graduate of our lab, on publishing his master’s thesis work in PNAS! His work has shown a transition along the visual hierarchy—from early, stimulus-bound coding of retinal light to higher-level representations aligned with perceived color—in collaboration with Drs. Sang Wook Hong and Steven Shevell. https://doi.org/10.1073/pnas.1911041117
